The cartridge should not be a black box.

The 36-stage construction combines repeated barrier, cotton, reactive, and mineral-media layers inside one replaceable cartridge. Calcium sulfite and KDF-55 are included in a design intended to help reduce chlorine, while mesh and PP layers help capture visible sediment and rust particles. Performance varies with water quality, temperature, flow rate, and cartridge condition.

Does it reduce chlorine?

ZymeFresh is designed to help reduce chlorine in shower water using calcium sulfite and KDF-55 media. Results vary with local water quality, temperature, flow rate, and cartridge condition.

What about rust and sediment?

Stainless steel mesh, PP, and microporous cotton layers help capture visible sediment and rust particles carried in the water. This does not mean the filter removes dissolved iron.

Does it remove bacteria?

No. ZymeFresh does not make a bacteria-removal claim and is not a substitute for water treatment. Do not rely on it to remove bacteria, PFAS, or every contaminant.

Will this fit my shower?

ZymeFresh is designed for standard U.S. threaded shower connections. Check with support first if your shower is built in, uses a ball-end connector, or has an older or unusual fixture.

Does it soften hard water?

No. ZymeFresh is not a water softener. Hard-water minerals and water marks can still vary with local water conditions.

Can I install it myself?

Many standard threaded connections can be assembled by hand. Stop if the threads do not align cleanly, and ask support about custom fixtures before ordering.

When should the cartridge be replaced?

Timing depends on local water, shower frequency, and household size. Follow the care guidance supplied with your order.

Where can I check shipping and returns?

In-stock orders are normally prepared in 1–3 business days, with most U.S. deliveries estimated for 5–10 business days after order confirmation. A tracking number is sent when the shipment is created; its first carrier scan can take up to 72 hours to appear.
